Ever since I was a child, I knew I wanted to work with animals. My dream back then was to become a veterinarian. As the years went on, I learned that being a veterinarian was not where I wanted to go. However, I learned that there is more to animal care than just the doctor. I have worked and gained many experiences throughout my live so far, that have gotten me to where I am today.

Once I have found out there was an opportunity to learn and train to be a Veterinary Technician, I decided that that is what I wanted to do. I took a dive into the Veterinary Technology Program at Northwester Connecticut Community College. I worked through nearly full-time schooling and two jobs to make it through and meet my goals. I worked hard and showed my dedication to my dreams. I graduated in 2010 with my Associates in Science and passed my national certification to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. I started my journey as a vet tech and plowed through 10.5 years as it being my career.

During those 10.5 years some things have changed in my life. I became a mom to two amazing 4 legged fur babies, Buff and Kiba, I became a wife and lastly a mother to my beautiful daughter. As the years have passed, my daughter has grown and my two beloved pets have passed. Two years ago, we decided to rescue again. We now have a dog name Charmy and cat named Coffee. Charmy is the nanny of the household. She is a senior dog with some medical needs but that is ok because she fits in perfectly with our family. Coffee is the sassiest cat I have ever owned, but a love bug nonetheless.

Last year I decided to take some time off to spend more time with my daughter and family. I had dedicated myself to veterinary medicine and felt it was time to realign my priorities. During this time, I have felt that something was missing in my life, something so very important. I realized that the Veterinary field is part of who I am. I would be a lost soul without the field.

Outside of MVC, I am a pretty big geek. I like to play video games, watch anime and k-drama, going on walks with the family, and have a YouTube channel with my daughter. We have fun, drawn, do puzzles and sometimes have dance parties
