From a very early age I knew I wanted to work with animals. I had grown up being taught to cherish every life on this planet and I had always been an animal lover. I grew up with fish and my uncle's 2 cats but always begged my parents for a dog. I got my first pet, a hamster, when I was 12. From then on, I had a special place in my heart for furry little critters. Over the years, I have had several hamsters and now 2 chinchillas.

When I was 15, my parents gifted my sister and I our first dogs, shih tzus, Bella and Paris. I have been extremely grateful to have had their love and companionship the last 12 years. There was however a moment when both Bella and Paris had gotten extremely sick to the point we had to take them to the ER. It was there where it really solidified that helping animals was something I wanted to do for a living. So I was super grateful when I got the opportunity to start working at MVC. Especially since I am enrolled in the Penn Foster Veterinary Technician Program.

In my house, my fiancé and I have 2 chinchillas (Chinchi and Gizmo), 2 hermit crabs (Henri and Hamilton), a hamster (Pooh Bear), a cockatiel (Mr. Buttersworth) and we also just recently adopted our hound-mix Charlie.

Outside of work and outside of caring for all my wonderful pets, I have many hobbies. Singing and anything having to do with music in general is my biggest one. My whole life I had gone to performing art schools and have taken up much in that area. I play piano, flute and bass guitar and had been dancing tap, jazz, hip hop and ballet for 20 years. I am also an avid reader and love video games.

I am extremely excited to be apart of the amazing team at MVC and getting to spend all day at work with animals and then coming home to love my own. It really is the start of a dream come true.
