Client Service Representative

Have experience with animals and/or customer service from work and / or college studies

Be available to work shifts that include days, evenings, most weekends and some holidays; applicants must be available for full-time work

Demonstrate abilities that include excellent people skills, comfort with computers, attention to detail and critical thinking.

Be prepared for a physically challenging job involving frequent lifting, bending and long periods of standing

This position first trains the new employee as a CSR. In this role you are the “face” of our hospital, the greeter for all those who walk in and call in, so natural people skills are a must. Receptionist trainees need to learn much information and a myriad of details so that they will be able to answer client questions, manage and schedule appointments, handle client flow and client contacts and perform payment transactions.

Once proficiency with reception duties are demonstrated, cross-training may be offered for one of our other positions:

Animal Care Nurse - here you learn both the basic skills of animal care (including cleaning, feeding, monitoring and handling) and building maintenance (cleaning, stocking), as well as the basics of our hospital’s operations. This includes becoming familiar with patient flow, computerized records, assisting coworkers, hospital policies and animal health information. 

Exam Room Assistant - Here you are the "go-to" person for your assigned doctor and help them in every aspect of caring for patients and their owners during appointments. You will need to learn a multitude of information to be able to manage questions and educate both clients and newly training nurses.
