My love of animals began in my early years of life, with two family cats Barnaby (who began my love of orange tabbies), and Abigail who was a brown tabby. I also have vivid memories of spending a lot of time with a litter of Basset Hound puppies as a toddler.

As an adult, I have volunteered at the Sadie Mae Foundation Animal Rescue League and the Lutz Children’s Museum and received my graduation certificate from Middlesex Community College’s Veterinary Assistant program. As my children grew up, I then "retired" from my previous job as a full time mom and joined Manchester Veterinary Clinic early in 2016. Working here was the natural next step in my continuing interest in the veterinary field.

At home, my menagerie includes two mixed breed black dogs named Layla and Penny, of course an Orange Tabby cat named Ed, and 5 snakes. My family and I often hike with the dogs and I absolutely love it. I also enjoy kayaking, attending concerts, and travelling as much as possible. Additionally, I have always had an interest in photography and if you spend much time on our Facebook page, you have seen photographs of the dogs and cat.

On the occasion my life is quiet, I like to read and watch movies with my family and friends.
